I believe increasing the number of member countries in the WTO has been an accomplishment. Now that all these member countries are in the same room and others are also being invited to participate, it is time that the WTO address the areas of international trade that have been undermining the ability to reduce poverty and in a sustainable way. Talks on the environment, workers rights and sustainability in general, need to come to the forefront and the trade rules enhanced to enable them to play a supportive role in achieving sustainable development. Weel, you haven\'t reach to much, yo have talk about everything, but is dificult to see real actions, DOHA haven\'t progress in anything, and developing countries were still with problms, You let Big countries control our economy and political decitions, and you see how they use the comers and trades like punish instruments. It\'s very sad, looking our problems, but even this the big economies the only thing that what from us is use us, they want our good product very cheap, but they want us to be their place to put their trash, it isn\'t fair. I think the WTO has to be the intermediate in theFTA (free trade agreements), so it would be dificul for big economies abuse from the little ones, like in the case of U.S.A- an Ecuador and their FTA, I thing it\'s very necesary for my country Ecuador to open the economy to the world, but no with abuses like that one.Ecua. To say the WTO has achieved much may be over-stating a fact that may not augur well to both side of the global divide.While developed countries have over the years dictated the pace of events within the WTO,developing countries are further fragmented by FTAs allowed by some rules of the WTO.To say the WTO has achieved much,is to say developing countries have been greatly relegated to the periphery of global trade policy.Governance within the WTO has largely been the issue of the west rather than other blocks party to the system.Trade policy may have evolved with greater polarisation in 60 years than initiators had predicted,this to the utter chagrin of those formed the body to achieve greater global trade.Why is Agriculture a serious and sensitive issue to developed countries than developing?Why are protective measures stringent in the west than in the South.Who is pulling who in the multilateral trading system?The answer is cheap and obvious to every miserable developing country...
